Let’s Help Texan Beto O’Rourke Replace Senator Ted Cruz – It Really Is A Medical Issue

My blog posts are my study notes (my peripheral brain) on medical topics that I review. Although it may not seem like it, this post is critically related to medical care. Here’s why:

The Republican Party at every level has been captured by Dark Money*,meaning the extremist right wing billionnaires and their functionaries.

Because of  Dark Money* republicans at every level are opposed to Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Plan, and any other government program that doesn’t directly increase the extremist right wing billionaires’  wealth.

*This is an Amazon Affiliate link to the  book Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right [our site will receive a small fee at no cost to you]. If you want to know who funds Ted Cruz and the Republican senators, congressman, and yes supreme court justices and other federal judges, you need to get this book.

Because of these extremist right wing billionaires and their Republican politicians, millions and millions of citizens (including children) will go without needed medical care and also without adequate food support. Meanwhile, the extremist billionaires continue to receive trillions of dollars in government handouts to their corporations (through unnecessary military spending, for one example).

Thus political involvement has become a duty for all clinicians (doctors, nurses, nurse practioners, all health care clinicians) who want to serve their patients.

This post is about how those who care about our nation can help. And it is clearly a medical issue. First we’ll look at a progressive Texas congressman running for Senator from Texas. Then we’ll look at four websites that can show you how you can effectively work for progressive change.

Beto O’Rourke,  betofortexas, is a progressive democratic congressman from Texas who is running for the Senate seat currently held by Ted Cruz.
