Linking To And Embedding POCUS Geek’s “POCUS – Gallbladder Ultrasound Anatomy”

Note to my readers: I strongly recommend that all POCUS learners purchase The Color Atlas Of Ultrasound Anatomy, Third Edition, Berthold Block, 2022. Chapter 3 on the Gallbladder, pp 101- 154, is outstanding. And even a POCUS newbie can use the chapter to start learning to scan without a coach (but you will learn faster if you have a teacher with you in the room or remotely with something like Zoom. And, of course, you can record your scanning sessions for later review with a coach.)

In addition to today’s post there are 30 previous posts related to POCUS gallbladder ultrasound. The list of these posts can be accessed by typing gallbladder into the search box on the right.

All that follows is from POCUS Geek‘s POCUS – Gallbladder Ultrasound Anatomy. Dec 31, 2018.

This video reviews a suggested scanning sequence that can be used to image the gallbladder. Additionally sonographic anatomy is reviewed.
