Lung ultrasound is a valuable tool in patient evaluation, offering real-time insights at the bedside. While performing the exam is generally straightforward, interpreting the findings and understanding their clinical implications can be complex. Subtle nuances often influence what is seen on ultrasound, and similar patterns may represent a wide range of pathologies. In this case, we highlight an important point: not all B-lines indicate cardiogenic pulmonary edema—they may, in fact, reflect alternative diagnoses that require careful consideration.
