IU Health’s Mobile Stroke Unit is expanding services to Wayne Township, one of IU Health West’s partnering emergency medical service (EMS) teams. Dr. Jason Mackey, the medical director of the Mobile Stroke Unit described the emergency response vehicle as “a mini primary stroke center on wheels.” When someone calls 911, the unit is dispatched along with EMS.
