About Me

I am a specialist in Internal Medicine and have cared for adults of all ages.  In addition, I have also cared for pediatric patients (newborns, infants, children, and adolescents).

I  graduated from the  Indiana University School of Medicine with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) and completed my residency in Internal Medicine. I have extensive clinical experience in managing adult intensive care patients as well has adult hospital ward patients.  My clinical experience also extends to the primary care for patients in the newborn nursery and for the care of inpatient pediatric patients. And I have extensive experience caring for pediatric outpatients including well baby and well child evaluations.

I have past certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS), the STABLE program (Neonatal Stabilization and Transport), and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO). There are a number of posts and resources on the site covering these topics.

Training individuals in CPR and AED is a special passion of mine. Therefore in 2016 I became a Red Cross certified instructor in CPR/AED/First Aid.

I have developed expertise in primary care bedside ultrasonography. All physicians and nurse practitioners responsible for patient care need to develop the ability to perform and interpret bedside ultrasound scanning. Patients will benefit tremendously from clinicians skilled in bedside ultrasonography. The site has a number of posts and resources on bedside ultrasonography.

I am a web designer and developer and am knowledge about HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and the WordPress content management system. I have built a number of websites over the past five years.

And I currently have a number of ecommerce sites in various states of development.
