All doctors are wary of necrotizing fasciitis.

It is “not very common but you will probably see it at some point in your career. And what it is, is a deep soft tissue infection that is very rapidly progressive. And it can make your patient very sick in a matter of hours. One of the reasons we are talking about it today is that it can be very difficult to diagnose,” Dr. Welniak states in this June 15, 2015 video, Necrotizing Fasciitis, from EMin5.
