Links To And Excerpts From “Single-Ventricle Physiology Episode 2: Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome” From PedsCases

Note to myself: The best way to review this excellent podcast and show notes is do it on a laptop and have both this post open [so I can review the figures] and the script open so I can tab back and forth from the script to the figures. In the script, the figures are at the very end of the PDF.

In this post I link to and excerpt from the PedsCases podcast and show notes, Single-Ventricle Physiology Episode 2: Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, by Sabine Lague, May 06, 2021.

All that follows is from the above resource:

This podcast is the second part of a three-part series on single-ventricle physiology and focuses on hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). In this episode, the listener will learn the definition and pathophysiology of HLHS, along with its presentation, diagnostic modalities, and initial management recommendations. This episode was created by Dr. Sabine Lague, a first-year pediatrics resident at the University of British Columbia, in conjunction with Dr. Shreya Moodley, a pediatric cardiologist at BC Children’s Hospital.
