I’ve seen a lot of ads for Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Recently a friend told me that he had made an appointment to be seen at the one of their hospitals for an evaluation of his cancer.
A quick Google search revealed the following troubling Reuters article:

If, for any reason, I had a patient who was unsure about his local oncology prognosis or local treatment plan and was willing to travel, I would suggest that he get a consultation at someplace like MD Anderson.
