Today I review, link to, and embed Kosmos by EchoNous‘ Dr Resa Lewiss EchoNous Interview.
This is an excellent interview. Dr. Lewiss states that an evaluation of an ultrasound system in a single day demo is simply not adequate to determine the unit’s suitablity for your practice. She recommends evaluating each potential system over the course of weeks and be sure that all users have a chance to weigh in on the unit’s strengths and weaknesses.
Dr. Lewiss also states that the ability to do remote teleguidance with the machine is critical. The teacher does not need to be in the room. She can be monitoring the learner’s progress over Zoom.
