Medicare Now Pays for Cardiac Rehab In Stable Congestive Heart Failure

At a recent fitness testing event, I saw a lady with severe congestive heart failure. She wanted to begin an exercise program. I advised her to see her cardiologist before she began an exercise program.

And I told her that Medicare will now pay for Cardiac Rehabilitation for patients who have stable congestive heart failure (Decision Memo–5-21-2014):
