With the introduction of less expensive point of care ultrasound system (Butterfly iq, Lumify, and Clarius) it behooves all childrens’ clinicians (family physicians, nurse practioners, emergency physicians, and pediatrician) to develop expertise in pediatric ultrasound. There are resources that make developing this expertise feasible for all clinicians.
