How to Scan The Bladder On Ultrasound | Probe Positioning | Transducer Placement | Abdominal USG Make sure the patient’s bladder is fully filled. Place the probe midline in longitudinal orientation at the hypogastric region (suprapubic region). Thoroughly scan the bladder by moving the probe left and right across the hypogastric region. Rotate the probe 90 degrees anticlockwise to scan the bladder in transverse view
