Alcohol Abuse Treatment Resources

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) has many resources to help patients and clinicians including Helping Patients Who Drink Too Much: A Clinician’s Guide, 2005, pdf. 

NIAAA also has a number of outstanding Clinical Guides and Manuals for clinicians.

NIAAA has a manual for the medical treatment of alcohol dependence, Medical Management Treatment Manual: A Clinical Guide for Researchers and Clinicians Providing Pharmacotherapy for Alcohol Dependence (Generic Version; 2010 edition).
